We invite you to become an integral part of the CREST program as we expand our work to increase diversity in the commercial real estate industry.

CREST (as was it's predecessor program CVP Academy) is dedicated to recruiting, matching, and facilitating paid summer internships for highly qualified minority students and women who are juniors, seniors, and graduate students in colleges and universities. The program has placed close to 200 students in the CRE industry since its inception. Each year since our inception, we have attracted and retained talented students and committed employers focused on increasing professional opportunities in the commercial real estate industry sector. This stated goal is generously supported by the industry associations and other participating organizations.

Virtual CRE
Education Program

CREST has successfully transitioned its 2-day intensive orientation program for incoming interns to a virtually delivered and distributed education program over the course of the internship schedule. This education program introduces students to leaders in the CRE industry with one-hour on-line lectures and Q&A interactions. The program is content rich, engaging and informative. The sponsor of this program has the opportunity to help identify and secure Education Program professionals from various sectors and support the creation of course material that the students can have access to beyond the lectures. The education program will be open to all CREST alumni as well as members of the sponsor organizations. There are 5 CREST Virtual CRE Education Program Sponsorship opportunities. Sponsors are acknowledged in all communications and their support will be presented on social media and other media venues.

The sponsors name and logo will be affixed to the name of the education program. The CREST Social Media sites include LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Organization logo and website will be linked to the CREST website and all communications about the program.

Event Program Support Partnership

Throughout the course of the year and in particular during the course of the summer internship, there are many opportunities to engage students and employers in virtual (and at some - point in the future) in person events that facilitate networking, mentoring and other interactive activities. Some of these events are educational, some social and some combinations of both. Each sponsor will have the opportunity to host and/or participate in events. Events might include tours of sites- virtual and socially distanced planned visits, informal conversations about roles and responsibilities across the sector as well as opportunities for “speed meet and greet”. Event participation will be open to all CREST alumni as well as members of the sponsorship organization. There are 10 CREST Event Program Sponsorship opportunities Sponsors are acknowledged in all communications and their support will be presented on social media and other media venues. The sponsors name and logo will be affixed to the name of the education program.

Alumni Network Sponsorship

The CREST database of alumni who have participated in CVP Academy Program (2014-2017) and CREST (2017-2020) is a rich source of highly qualified minority students and women who have experience working in the CRE industry. This experience includes their successful internship as well as on-going work in the industry. Program alumni are passionate about their CREST affiliation and can be a resource for talent and referrals to others in the CRE industry. The alumni database is managed by former CREST participants with the technical support of the CREST organization. Sponsor organizations will have the opportunity to post job opportunities, as well as RFP and RFQ outreach. There are 15 CREST Alumni Network Sponsorship opportunities. Sponsors are acknowledged in all communications and their support will be presented on social media and other media venues. The sponsors name and logo will be affixed to the name of the education program.
